WHAT IS MERIT360?
The most significant opportunity to change the world for the better! Focusing on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, we invite passionate individuals between the ages of 18-35 to develop a strategy which will lead and inspire a global community to take action and create change. Strategy development will begin online months prior to the event and Action Plan 002 will be presented to the United Nations and implemented in communities all around the world.
Key elements which add up to a fun, exciting yet productive and world changing 2 week program. The daily structure will also reflect this, with time to relax and build cross cultural friendships, and full on sessions to fine tune skills and the Action Plan.
This year the full, unsubsidised cost is $3000. You need to raise a minimum of $1500 to attend; but you'd be missing out on some super exclusive perks if you stop there. We want to encourage you to fundraise as much as you can, this will be paid forward to support the future of Merit360 and the initiatives we create. THE SDGs &
ACTION PLAN 002
The core of Merit360 Action Plan 001 that will address all 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN in 3 sections:
Component 1 - Develop a marketing campaign to have every global young person understand & engage in the SDGs.
Component 2 - Create local and global partnerships with existing projects and organizations to strengthen each other’s impact on the SDGs.
Component 3 - Develop and implement a new project which contributes to achieving the SDGs.
The issues addressed by the Sustainable Development Goals, and the 169 sub-targets within them, affect you seriously and directly. Merit360 is inclusive to all young global citizens who have the ambition and commitment to work on this collaboratively beyond beliefs and borders.
